Tooth Exposure
When a tooth is ectopic (out-of-position) and impacted (has not erupted), it may be uncovered and brought into proper position with orthodontic assistance (braces). This occurs most frequently with a maxillary (upper) cuspid tooth. Treatment is most predictable if done in the teenage years.
